
Overview
This 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari takes you through the Volcanoes National Park the home
of mountain gorillas in Rwanda. Volcanoes national park is located in northwestern Rwanda
and covers an area of about 160 square kilometers.
The park borders with Mgahinga national park in Uganda and Virunga national park in
Democratic Republic of Congo. The park is a tropical forest and encompasses 5 of the 8
Virunga volcanoes; Muhabura, Bisoke, Karisimbi, Sabinyo and Gahinga. The park was
gazetted in1925 intended to protect mountain gorillas from poachers.
Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali International Airport.
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport. You will be picked up our professional drive guide to your chosen hotel. Check in for Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Embark on a city tour that includes, Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, then head to the Old Kigali town.
After breakfast, you will embark on a city tour that includes, Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, then head to the Old Kigali town, have lunch. On the way to Volcanoes National Park, you will stop for photos and beautiful sceneries then proceed for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Drive for gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park.
Early in the morning after breakfast, will head for gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. You will meet the guide, be briefed and head to the forest for gorilla trekking adventure.
Drive back to Kigali International Airport for departure flight or hotel.
