We are Emerald of Africa Safaris located in Kampala and Bwindi-Uganda. We provide Tailor made gorilla trekking safaris to Uganda, Rwanda & Congo. Emerald of Africa Safaris was founded a group of two senior tour Guides and safari drivers that grew up near the boarders of the protected areas of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The team got courage and passion for Wildlife from their father whom they grew up seeing as a ranger. That would leave home every day to protect the endangered Gorillas, primates and other wildlife in Bwindi. Who later advanced to a Freelance Birding guide but now retired.
Emerald of Africa Safaris re-invests Part of the proceedings made to sponsor vulnerable children and poor expectant mothers around the protected areas of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is the baseline for the company. We partner with Bwindi Kids charity that helps to sponsor orphaned and vulnerable children and youths ranging from primary to university level around Bwindi Forest protected areas.
